Get to know the sisters behind Inara Home Imagery! Whilst we work very closely with our fab extended crew including photographers, videographers, stylists and drone pilots – we'll be the ones answering your requests, organising all your shoots, and delivering your lovely marketing imagery.
Miriam – Founder/Owner & Lead Photographer/Videographer
Hi, I’m Miriam. One of my earliest childhood memories is of begging my parents for a camera, so my love of photography goes back a long way! I launched my photography business in 2011 and have specialised in interiors and property since 2016.
I have a longstanding appreciation of buildings, from characterful period properties to clever contemporary design, and I take pleasure in noticing the creative details, the craftsmanship, and the colours and textures that bring a space together.
I get excited about great imagery, when the composition and the light interplay beautifully, and I take my time getting every element just right, often spending longer than you might expect nudging things precisely into position for the perfect shot.
Away from work, I’m happiest spending time with my much-loved Labrador, watching pink sunsets, skiing or exploring somewhere new.
Joanna – Office Manager
Hi I’m Joanna, and I come from a digital marketing background.
I first offered my help to Miriam in 2020 when business was really booming and she was rushed off her feet... From a sisterly helping hand, to freelancing, to deciding we’d take the arrangement full-time – I’ve become more and more involved and invested in Inara over the years! I now take care of most of the marketing, I manage our website, bookings, and admin, and I get stuck into editing images too.
I love to get creative in my work, and enjoy liaising with our truly lovely clients – as well as helping to bring impact to my sister's dreams.
Outside of work you'll find me eating good (plant-based) food, laughing with friends, watching films with a big glass of wine, and travelling to new places.
Psst... We both grew up in Brussels and speak French pretty well, and can get by in a few other European languages. So if that's of any help to you, please just let us know!
